- 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, and seasonings.
- In a second dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Place flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking dish.
- Mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with mozzarella cheese and minced garlic, and top the chicken with this cheese blend.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Notes
Serve hot with pasta, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
