Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, and seasonings.
  3. In a second dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
  4. Place flour in a third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking dish.
  8. Mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with mozzarella cheese and minced garlic, and top the chicken with this cheese blend.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Notes

Serve hot with pasta, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
