- 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a shallow dish, mix the bread crumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Put the flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, dip it into the egg mixture, and coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place the cooked chicken in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and minced garlic. Spread this cheese mixture on top of the chicken.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
For extra crunch, mix in some panko bread crumbs. You can use chicken thighs for a juicier option.
