Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix the bread crumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
  4. Put the flour in a third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, dip it into the egg mixture, and coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Place the cooked chicken in a baking dish.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and minced garlic. Spread this cheese mixture on top of the chicken.
  9. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

For extra crunch, mix in some panko bread crumbs. You can use chicken thighs for a juicier option.
