Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, and the seasoning.
  3. In another dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
  4. Place the flour in a third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook each chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
  7. Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking dish.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with the mozzarella and minced garlic. Top the chicken with this mixture.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked through.

Notes

Ensure to pat the chicken dry before dredging for better coating. For extra flavor, add more spices to the breadcrumb mixture.
