Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, coating both sides.
  5. Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  6. Then, coat the chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to make the crumbs stick.
  7. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, try using panko bread crumbs instead of regular bread crumbs. Make sure the chicken breasts are evenly flattened for even cooking.
