Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In the first dish, mix bread crumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In the second dish, beat together the eggs and 1/4 cup of milk.
  4. Place the all-purpose flour in the third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then cook each chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  8. Mix remaining Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella, and minced garlic in a bowl and top the chicken with this mixture.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  10. Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh cheese and pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
