- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet.
- Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes and Italian seasoning, and bring sauce to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve with pasta or rice.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before cooking. Add red pepper flakes for heat.
