Old Fashioned Pancakes

Instructions

  1. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, folding gently until just mixed.
  4. Preheat the griddle over medium heat.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with your desired toppings.

Notes

For best results, don’t overmix the batter. Feel free to add mix-ins like blueberries or chocolate chips.
