- 1 cup dry orzo pasta
- 2½ cups broth (chicken or veggie)
- 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 package Boursin cheese (Garlic & Herb)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and orzo; toast for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir frequently for 8–10 minutes until the orzo is tender.
- Turn off the heat, then stir in the Boursin cheese until it is fully melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine when toasting the orzo. Mix in vegetables like spinach or peas for added nutrition. Can be made vegan with substitutions.
