One-Pan Boursin Orzo

A creamy and comforting dish combining Boursin cheese with tender orzo, perfect for busy weeknights with easy cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry orzo pasta
  • 2½ cups broth (chicken or veggie)
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 package Boursin cheese (Garlic & Herb)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and orzo; toast for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir frequently for 8–10 minutes until the orzo is tender.
  5. Turn off the heat, then stir in the Boursin cheese until it is fully melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, garnish with fresh herbs.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine when toasting the orzo. Mix in vegetables like spinach or peas for added nutrition. Can be made vegan with substitutions.
