- 8 oz. milk or semi-sweet melting chocolate
- 1/2 cup whole milk (divided)
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 4 oz. cream cheese (softened)
- 8 oz. whipped topping/Cool Whip
- 24 crushed Oreos
Instructions
- Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan, add the chocolate and 4 tablespoons of whole milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth.
- Cool the Mixture: Remove from heat and cool for 5-10 minutes.
- Combine with Milk: Stir in the remaining 1/4 cup of whole milk.
- Chill the Chocolate Mixture: Refrigerate until cool and thick, about 15-20 minutes.
- Mix Cream Cheese and Sugar: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the Chocolate Mixture: Pour the chilled chocolate mixture into the cream cheese mixture and stir until combined.
- Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the whipped topping until mixed.
- Create Layers: In dessert cups, add a layer of crushed Oreos, then the chocolate mousse, and another layer of whipped topping, repeating until cups are filled.
- Finish and Serve: Top with more crushed Oreos or whipped topping for decoration. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat.

For a twist, consider using different Oreo flavors and high-quality chocolate.
