Perfect Blueberry Cheesecake Cookies

Delicious cookies combining cheesecake flavor with the sweetness of blueberries, perfect for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 24 cookies 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (do not thaw if frozen)
  • Optional: ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • Optional: 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set this mixture aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, and mix until everything is well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the blueberries and any optional add-ins.
  7. Using a scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set but still soft.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm, also delicious at room temperature. Pairs well with milk or ice cream.
