Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz block of feta cheese, drained from brine
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
- 1–2 Tbsp honey (plus more for serving)
- 1 tsp dried thyme (or 2 tsp fresh thyme)
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- Chopped walnuts (optional; raw or toasted)
- Extra honey drizzle for garnish
- Crusty, toasted bread (like sourdough or baguette) or crackers for dipping
Instructions
- Make the Whipped Feta: Place the drained feta cheese and Greek yogurt into a food processor. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Add Flavors: Introduce the pumpkin puree, honey, thyme, and freshly cracked black pepper. Blend again until well combined.
- Chill: Transfer the mixture to a bowl, cover it, and let chill in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped walnuts, fresh thyme, and an extra drizzle of honey. Serve with crusty bread or crackers.
Notes
Use high-quality feta for a creamier texture; adjust sweetness by varying honey. For a spicy version, add diced jalapeños.
