- 8 wontons (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, pour in 4 cups of low-sodium chicken broth, add 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger and 2 minced garlic cloves. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil.
- Once boiling, add in the 8 wontons and cook according to package instructions or until they float to the top.
- After the wontons are cooked, stir in 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy hot!
Notes
Feel free to customize with extra vegetables or proteins. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
