- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Mix together flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy in another bowl.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Fold in the raspberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Whisk together lemon juice, powdered sugar, and lemon zest to make the glaze in a small bowl.
- Drizzle the glaze on top once the bars cool.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Serve chilled or at room temperature for the best flavor. Garnish with whole raspberries or lemon zest for a nice presentation.
