A comforting dish combining hearty beef, cabbage, and rice, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, with juice
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  3. Add shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes (with juice), cooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well.
  4. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Transfer to the greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30–35 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
  7. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or crusty bread. Optionally sprinkle cheese on top before serving.
