- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small cabbage, shredded
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, with juice
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned, about 7 minutes. Drain fat.
- Add shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, cooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes to blend flavors.
- Transfer to the baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30–35 minutes, until cabbage is tender.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute beef with beans or lentils. You can also add cheese on top before baking for a cheesy flavor.
