- 2 boneless ribeye steaks
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and black pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, cooking on low until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Pour the creamy sauce over the steaks and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Allow steaks to come to room temperature before cooking for even doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness, aiming for 130°F for medium-rare.
