Skillet Bang Bang Chicken Thighs

A quick and flavorful dish featuring crispy chicken thighs coated in a spicy-sweet bang bang sauce.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and place them in the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  3. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, pour the sauce over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, sear the chicken thighs a little longer on each side. Adjust sriracha according to spice preference. Consider adding vegetables like bell peppers for a healthy touch.
