Ingredients

- 12 large pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese and spinach mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Serve with a fresh green salad or garlic bread. Add fresh basil or parsley for extra flavor.
