- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 pound steak (flank or sirloin), grilled and sliced
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sliced avocado, for topping
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, cilantro, mayonnaise, lime juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper to make the zippy slaw. Set aside.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then grill on medium heat until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or on a grill.
- Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak and shrimp on each tortilla, then top with the zippy slaw and sliced avocado.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Marinate the steak for a few hours before grilling to enhance its taste.
