Steak and Shrimp Tacos

Ingredients

  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 pound steak (flank or sirloin), grilled and sliced
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sliced avocado, for topping
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, cilantro, mayonnaise, lime juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper to make the zippy slaw. Set aside.
  2. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then grill on medium heat until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or on a grill.
  4. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak and shrimp on each tortilla, then top with the zippy slaw and sliced avocado.
  5. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Marinate the steak for a few hours before grilling to enhance its taste.
