Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb chicken thighs, diced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Mix well to create a smooth sauce.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken thighs and cook, stirring often, until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked chicken and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and become sticky.
- Serve the sticky chicken over a bed of cooked rice, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For added flavor, use fresh garlic and ginger. You can customize the dish with your choice of vegetables or spice level.
