- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 pound chicken breasts, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and ginger to make the sauce.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir until well coated, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve over cooked rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the diced chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Customize with your favorite vegetables.
