Strawberry Kiss Cookies

  • 1 (16 oz) bag Funfetti sugar cookie mix
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup pink or white sanding sugar or non-pareils
  • 18 Hershey’s Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cookie mix, softened cream cheese, and egg until a soft dough forms.
  3. Place sanding sugar or non-pareils in a shallow bowl.
  4. Using a 1½ tablespoon scoop, scoop the dough, roll it in the sugar or non-pareils, and shape it into smooth balls.
  5. If the dough is too sticky, chill it for 30–60 minutes.
  6. Arrange the cookie balls on the baking sheet about 1½ inches apart.
  7. Bake for 8–12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
  8. Let the cookies cool for 3–5 minutes, then press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  9. Cool completely or enjoy warm.

Notes

These cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or frozen for up to three months.
