- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chopped strawberries, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or in the fridge for up to a week.
