Sweet Baby Ray’s Crockpot Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce (about 18 oz)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil until smooth.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Pour the BBQ mixture over the chicken, coating each piece evenly.
  5. Cover and cook on Low for 4–6 hours or High for 2–3 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  6. Shred the chicken using two forks, then stir to mix with the sauce.
  7. Serve warm over rice, on sandwich buns, or with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate the chicken in the BBQ sauce mixture for a few hours before cooking. Add cayenne pepper for heat, or include veggies for extra texture.
