- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, diced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Stir in diced sweet potatoes, diced tomatoes, corn, chicken broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 25-30 minutes or until sweet potatoes are tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy your comforting chili!

Top with shredded cheese, chopped green onions, or sour cream. This chili pairs well with cornbread or tortilla chips.
