- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Cooking spray
- Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning to the ground beef according to package instructions.
- Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Place one wonton wrapper in each muffin cup, pressing down to form a cup shape.
- Fill each wonton cup with a tablespoon of the seasoned beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the wonton wrappers are crisp and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Serve with optional toppings as desired.
Notes
Ensure wonton wrappers are pressed tightly into the muffin tin for the best shape. Experiment with different cheeses or add beans for additional flavor.
