- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion until the beef is fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots over the cheese layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option. Consider adding jalapeños or chili powder for a spicier kick.
