Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 bag tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and mixed vegetables (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a casserole dish, layer the beef mixture and then top with tater tots.
  5. Sprinkle cheese over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add chopped onions or garlic when browning the beef. Use any type of cheese you prefer, and add your favorite vegetables.
