Thai Basil Beef Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Rice paper wrappers

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add soy sauce and hoisin sauce and cook until the beef is done.
  2. Stir in the shredded carrots and chopped bell peppers. Cook for a few more minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Soften the rice paper wrappers by dipping them in warm water until they become pliable.
  4. On each rice paper wrapper, place some of the beef mixture and a few fresh basil leaves.
  5. Roll it up tightly and place it seam side down. Repeat for all the wrappers.
  6. Serve fresh and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with a dipping sauce like sweet chili sauce, peanut sauce, or soy sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
