Ultimate Mississippi Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 34 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 jar (16 oz) pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Add the water and the entire jar of pepperoncini (including juice).
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 480-600 minutes (8-10 hours) or until the meat is tender and easily pulls apart.
  6. Shred the meat with two forks and serve with the juices over mashed potatoes or on sandwich rolls.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, sear the beef chuck roast before adding it to the crockpot. You can also add vegetables like carrots and potatoes for a complete meal.
