- 2 Black tea bags
- ¾ cup Water
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Ginger
- ½ teaspoon Cardamom
- ¼ teaspoon Cloves
- ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
- Brown sugar or honey (to taste)
Instructions
- Combine water, tea bags, and spices in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and remove the tea bags. Let it steep for an additional 5 minutes.
- In another saucepan, heat the milk over medium-low heat. Avoid boiling.
- Use a frother or whisk to froth the milk until it’s foamy.
- Strain the tea mixture into a mug, stir in vanilla extract and sweetener, and pour the frothed milk on top.
Notes
Serve hot and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg. Adjust spices and sweeteners to your liking.
