Vanilla Chai Tea Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 Black tea bags
  • ¾ cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Ginger
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom
  • ¼ teaspoon Cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • Brown sugar or honey (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine water, tea bags, and spices in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and remove the tea bags. Let it steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. In another saucepan, heat the milk over medium-low heat. Avoid boiling.
  4. Use a frother or whisk to froth the milk until it’s foamy.
  5. Strain the tea mixture into a mug, stir in vanilla extract and sweetener, and pour the frothed milk on top.

Notes

Serve hot and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg. Adjust spices and sweeteners to your liking.
