Vegan Crunchwrap Supreme

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup vegan cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup crunchy tortilla chips
  • 1 cup vegan cheese shreds
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Tomato, diced
  • Avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, combine cooked lentils, chopped walnuts, and taco seasoning over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes until the mixture is heated through.
  2. In a small bowl, mix vegan cream cheese and hot sauce to create a spicy sauce.
  3. Lay a tortilla on a flat surface and spread a layer of the spicy sauce in the center.
  4. Add a layer of the lentil-walnut mixture, followed by crunchy tortilla chips, vegan cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced avocado.
  5. Fold the edges of the tortilla towards the center to create a square shape.
  6. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the wrapped crunchwrap seam-side down. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Serve with additional hot sauce or salsa if desired.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust hot sauce to your spice preference. Can customize the filling with different vegetables.
