Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
- 4 burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, or extra cheese
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, spinach, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until everything is evenly combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and drizzle it with olive oil. Once hot, cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Transfer the cooked patties to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on buns with your favorite toppings. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Finely chop the spinach to ensure it blends well with the mixture. Customize with different cheeses or add vegetables like zucchini for variation.
